DetailsThe second Tykkimäki Actionpark was opened in the Prisma hypermarket in the city of Lahti, Finland on February 2018 by Tykkimäen Vapaa-aikakeskus Oy. The park provides an adventurous indoor attraction for the whole family, and invites all to experience the fun of activity and play. Lappset Creative designed and built the park. The new park is part of the customer’s investment plan to build several Actionparks more in the coming years to Finland.
“In the design phase we have taken into account the experiences of the first Actionpark in the Kouvola Prisma Center. After operating the first Actionpark nearly two years, we have learned what interests users and we have made small adjustments to the new park. However, the Actionpark Lahti is very similar to Actionpark Kouvola. It is important to have an offering where parents go out with children to join. It is the best quality time for everyone. Many Sport clubs, companies and other organization have arranged their special events and team building days in the Actionpark. The popularity of the party and birthday rooms has even surprised us a bit. Sporty and adventurous birthday parties are a natural thing to organized in an attraction where the place is designed to engage people be active” says Sakari Pasanen, CEO of Tykkimäen Vapaa-aikakeskus.
